Rachel Yau is the founder of “Rachel's Kitchen”, a senior culinary instructor, and a professional advertising food stylist. She has received public recognition for her talents and often been invited to provide demonstrations in food exhibitions, design recipes for famous catering brands. She has frequently served as a judge in the food competitions organized by Hong Kong Tourism Board.

It is Rachel’s core belief that cooking is about happiness and sharing. This drives her to generously present her cooking methods in various TV interviews, write food columns in newspapers and magazines. She is a cookbook author with avid readers in Japan and Southeast Asia. Among the thirteen cookbooks published, the “Seasons at Rachel’s Kitchen” received “The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards”.

In 2010, Rachel took a step further and founded “Rachel's Kitchen”, a culinary institute offering training on cooking skills and promoting the value of “happy cooking”. Her endeavor has helped many families to see the benefits of cooking at home, and contribute to the home dining culture in Hong Kong.
